Winchendon Road, Teddington

A concrete-paved garden has been converted into a contemporary, open-air entertaining area. Decking is set at varying angles over three levels. Framed reed screens and architectural planting enclose and soften the space. See photographs.

Brocklebank Road, Earlsfield 2

This water feature was designed 'in-house' and constructed using custom-made etched glass and copper components. See photographs

Alma Road, Wandsworth

A cobbled courtyard has been created in this walled garden. The design includes a raised pond and planting beds on different levels. See photographs

Brocklebank Road, Earlsfield 1

A timber deck with boards set at 45 degrees to the house was designed and implemented. The different heights of the two back doors necessitated a height change, and was emphasised by changing the board direction. A continuous step spans the width of the deck. See photographs.

Tonsley Hill, Wandsworth

A WW2 air-raid shelter converted from a concrete 'no-go area' into a ballustraded, raised terrace. See photograph.

Kersfield Road, Clapham

This garden has been designed and built with the objective of making the most of available space while providing good wheelchair access throughout the garden. See photograph.

Orchard Road, Twickenham

An area of reproduction York flags framed in brick with decorative brick inserts. Brick stepping stones that match brick inserts allow all-weather access from the house. See photographs.

Thorndean Street, Earlsfield

A natural sandstone terrace, brick planters and trellis screens create the structure for a future formal planting scheme. Discreet low-voltage lighting has been incorporated throughout. See photographs.

Raynes Park

This project required converting a large, run down garden into a modern outdoor space for entertaining. An upper deck was built over an existing paved area while a lower deck with integrated pergola and split bamboo backdrop was built on the site of an old double garage. Paths of natural sandstone and granite setts link the principle areas. See photographs.

Gladstone Road, Wimbledon

A sunny corner of this small garden has been converted from paving to a raised planting bed. The retaining wall is serpentine in shape and incorporates a timber bench. See photographs.

Fieldhouse Road, Balham

A shady dining spot has been created in an otherwise unproductive area of the garden. See photographs.

Sarsfeld Road, Balham

Reclaimed railway sleepers retain raised planting beds and frame a new lawn / terrace feature. See photograph.

Granard Avenue, Putney

A small lawn transformed into a low maintenance gravel area, edged with a crescent of multi-stock bricks. See photographs.
